We know it can be hard to figure out exactly what you are able to invest, and that everyone’s circumstances are different and often changing. We have put together some information to aid in gauging where you land on the sliding scale.
We offer 4 sliding scale slots for those who are financially otherwise unable to attend. Sliding scale slot applications are open to anyone with financial need. We do give priority to BIPOC individuals, those with disabilities + those who are single parents. Applications are due on May 26th and we will let you know by June 6th.
We are committed to creating the conditions for Bloodroot to be a space that feels inclusive, diverse + welcoming. We take into consideration the identities within the group + do our best to create a racially balanced group experience for those that come to our retreat.
The cost of the retreat starts at $2,600 for those who are in shared room + $2,850 for a private room
The Retreat Includes:
-Private, hourlong Bloodroot session with a witness with props and wardrobe options
-Daily multi-dimensional, embodiment and healing arts workshops led by trained healers and facilitators.
-Catered meals and snacks made with serious LOVE.
-Evening fire pits, creative sharing and dance parties.
-A supportive circle of powerful humans.
-Certified perinatal mental health provider on staff.
Pre-Retreat:
-Two optional Collective Orientation virtual gatherings to help you prepare for our time together
Post-Retreat:
-Private Collective Witness gathering 8 weeks after the retreat to reconvene to process and view the powerful images we created together.
Your Bloodroot Photo Session includes:
-Hourlong Bloodroot session with Rachel and a witness
-Session location of your choice
-Delightful array of natural props and ample full gender spectrum wardrobe options
-Styling guide to help you prepare
Your Retreat Fee includes:
-Online photo gallery & slideshow of your session for viewing and purchase
-Your choice of 3 digital images from the full gallery
-One 8"x10" print on archival paper to be delivered at the post-retreat Collective Witness gathering
-(Additional images and prints available for purchase a la carte or via packages that range from $500-$3300 after the retreat)
Early Registration Bonuses. Register by April 14, 2023 for the full fee to receive:
-Ten month payment plan
-Additional 8'x10" archival print
-Birth record consultation with a licensed midwife and certified perinatal mental health provider to better understand your story prior to the retreat. (This bonus is for the first 5 people who register by April 14th.)

**Expendable Income might mean you are able to buy coffee or tea at a shop, go to the movies or a concert, buy new clothes, books, and similar items each month, etc.
