REGENERATE IS A SEASONAL ONLINE COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE FOCUSED ON WHAT IT MEANS TO BE IN CONNECTION WITH OUR TRUTH, OUR BODIES, AND EACH OTHER IN THESE UNSTEADY TIMES. REGENERATION IS THE PROCESS OF REGROWTH, OF BEING FORMED ANEW, OF REBIRTH.
REGENERATE IS FOR CIS/TRANS WOMEN, NON-BINARY + TRANS PEOPLE WHO ARE COMFORTABLE IN AN ENVIRONMENT THAT CENTERS THE EXPERIENCE OF THOSE SOCIALIZED AS WOMEN +/OR THOSE LIVING AS WOMEN.
This online community will focus on practices that solidly ground us through connecting to our energetic bodies, the Earth's body, our erotic selves, our ancestors, and our dream time. With the rise of chaos and dis-information, rooting back into our essence is vital for staying close to our truth. Each session will include time for connection to yourself, to others and to feel a part of the growing Bloodroot community. Our hope is that these offerings will root you securely into yourself and provide a balm to the fear, isolation and chaos of this time.

Thema Haida

Join Thema for joyful rest and recalibration. Thema will lead us through a grounding meditation, help us to clear and balance our energies with Reiki and we’ll end our time together with dancing. Come get your healing on!
Thema (she/her) is a black queer Reiki Witch, an intuitive spiritual guide, energy worker, and a creatrix/holder of healing spaces. Thema is a certified Usui/Holy Fire/Karuna Reiki Master Teacher, is certified in 13th Octave LaHoChi, a 500hr Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Instructor, and an Advanced Metaphysical Healing Practitioner.
Angela Clinton

There are few spaces in our society where we are welcome to express all of ourselves – both the light and the shadow – in full unapologetic ways. Join Angela in making space for the pain of life in a movement process called Swamping. Angela will invite you to be in and express the full range of our emotions through our bodies while being witnessed and held in community. We will will also sway our hips and feel what feels good, right and pleasurable in our bodies so we connect to our radiance.
Angela (she/her) is the co-director of Bloodroot and the director of Bloodroot Retreats. Angela is a fiercely loving and joyful racial equity facilitator, embodiment guide and trauma-informed sexuality coach. She moves and activates others at the intersections of joy + justice, sexuality + power, flow + action and wholeness + liberation. A long-time community organizer, Angela is fascinated by power and how to create both individual and systemic change. Movement, dance and exploring erotic power have cracked open for her a path to healing, self-love and individual + collective liberation.
Lisa Graustein

Litha (the summer solstice) is a time of rich abundance and preparing for harvest while banishing evil with fire - all of it grounded in our relationship with the Earth. This session will create a circle of care and connection before moving into a ritual of release and calling in. You will be invited to create a fire in your space - outside in a yard, in a fireplace, in a bowl or using a candle - whatever is accessible to you. We will dance and move; we will banish the evil that is around us; we will (re)welcome in the wisdom of millenia of ancestors who withstood and burned down empires. And we'll also make some art; creation is our birthright.
Lisa Graustein (she/her) is a white Celtic-Prussian, Queer, Quaker witch teacher, facilitator, and artist working to end/heal white supremacy and the colonialism her family brought and created on this continent. Living on unceded Neponset Band of the Massachusett land, Lisa works with schools and non-profits to end practices of oppression and work for equity and justice. Part of her spiritual work in ending/healing white supremacy has been (re)connecting with the indigenous practices of her people when they still lived on their homelands and before they were Christinized.
Terna Tilley-Gyado

Join Terna for an evening of conversation and attunement to the ancestral realm. We will explore the meaning of "ancestor" along with the healing power and potential in working with ancestors. This workshop is for folks curious about or looking to start an ancestor practice as well as folks who already have a seasoned practice.
Terna (she/her) is a liberian/nigerian/american-raised healing facilitator, body- & energy-based psychotherapist, energy & spirit worker, and artist based in Western Massachusetts (Pocumtuc territory). She serves as a priestess in the Ifa tradition (Iyalorisha), and has maintained a daily ancestor practice for over a decade. Through working with her ancestors, she has experienced miracles and other moments of profound healing, both personal and for the lineage at large, as well as deeper destiny alignment.
Rachel Liu

Bring your dream journal and join a circle of dreamers as we seek to make meaning of the symbolism of our dreams. Using group wisdom and active imagination practices Rachel will lead the group through a process of connecting more deeply with what our subconscious is trying to tell us.
Rachel (they/she) is the creator of Bloodroot Sessions, the creative director of Bloodroot, a trauma informed healing artist + photographer. As a life long dreamer, Rachel has apprenticed to dreamwork through their own dream practice since they were 10 years old. Through cultivating an intimate relationship with their dreams as well as participating in apprenticeships, coursework, private study and countless dream circles Rachel has a profound respect for the wisdom of our dream space. They consider it a privilege to facilitate a circle where we can source group wisdom to be in deeper relationship with our dreams.
